Te Tapuwae o Rongokako Marine Reserve Adventure Day
SATURDAY MARCH 3RD 2018
Celebrate Seaweek with a family adventure to Te Tairawhiti Gisborne’s own fully protected marine reserve just past the Pouawa River Bridge, along SH35.
Explore our unique coastal environment in it’s natural, untouched state and discover the biodiversity in this fully protected area.
Adventure Activities on the day:
• Snorkel on the reef at Te Tapuwae o Rongokako Marine Reserve with experienced EMR snorkel instructors to guide you
• Try the NEW ‘Toyota Kiwi Guardians’ family adventure
• Become a Citizen scientist with the marine metre square (MM2) project
• Ever tried ‘Geocaching’? the Marine Reserve has two, come find out more
FREE HIRE
Of all equipment such as wetsuits, fins, masks and snorkels or BYO
BYO Picnic lunch
FREE Sausage sizzle
All children are to be accompanied by an adult for all activities during this event.
